Establishing and maintaining healthy boundaries within the workplace, family systems, and friendships is essential to overall wellness. Through therapy, Shar’dae helps clients recognize that we teach others how to treat us, and that intentional boundary-setting is a powerful pathway to respect, safety, and healing.

Shar’dae practices from a trauma-informed perspective and is passionate about helping clients identify their strengths, develop assertiveness, and communicate their needs in healthy and effective ways. She provides a compassionate, empathetic, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients are supported in exploring relational patterns, improving emotional regulation, and building healthier connections. Shar’dae also models healthy communication and boundary-setting while honoring each client’s lived experience.

With several years of experience as a trauma-informed therapist, Shar’dae has provided counseling services to individuals from diverse backgrounds. She works with individuals, couples, families, and groups experiencing concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, schizophrenia, relationship challenges, difficulty regulating emotions, self-esteem concerns, family conflict, divorce, addiction, identity struggles, infertility, the psychological impact of limited diversity, equity, and inclusion, and spiritual or faith-related concerns.

In addition to her clinical work, Shar’dae is passionate about supporting and empowering fellow therapists and helping professionals. She values the importance of professional wellness, restoration, and sustainable care within the helping professions.

What Therapy Is Like With Me

Therapy with me is a collaborative, supportive process centered on emotional safety, respect, and empowerment. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, validated, and supported as you explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach is trauma-informed and strengths-based, meaning we work together to identify your existing resilience while addressing patterns that may no longer serve you. Sessions are guided by your goals, your values, and your readiness for change.

In our work together, I focus on helping you develop healthy boundaries, strengthen assertive communication, and improve emotional regulation. I believe meaningful healing occurs when individuals feel safe enough to be authentic, reflective, and empowered in their therapeutic journey.

Therapy with me honors the whole person and respects your lived experience, culture, faith, and personal beliefs. You remain the expert on your life, while I provide guidance, clinical insight, and support along the way.
