Shar’dae Lewis, MA LPC-S of Spoken Boundaries obtained her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Nazarene University. Shar’dae is passionate about helping her clients obtain self-empowerment through assisting them with ways to establish healthy boundaries within relationships, practicing assertiveness, and helping them learn attributes of a healthy and unhealthy relationship. Shar’dae assists clients that she serves with achieving happiness, healthiness, and wholeness. Shar’dae helps her clients better understand their authentic selves. Shar’dae uses her counseling skills to provide individuals, couples, and families with the ability to heal, better respect boundaries of others, and further empowering themselves. Shar’dae understands that boundaries are integral to the counseling process because boundaries keep each individual emotionally, physically, spiritually, and financially safe. Establishing boundaries within the workplace, in familial relationships, and within friendships are essential to obtaining a healthy well-being. Boundaries are ways to establish respect, physical safety, and emotional safety by establishing guidelines. It is so important to recognize that we teach people how to treat us and establishing healthy boundaries is how this is attained.

Shar’dae is passionate about providing trauma-informed care. Shar’dae helps clients identify their strengths and abilities and she empowers her clients to practice assertiveness, communicate their needs in healthy ways, and she helps them identify healthy and unhealthy aspects of relationships. Shar’dae models appropriate ways to communicate needs, boundary set, and she provides empathy and compassion for the clients that she serves. Shar’dae also enjoys helping other therapists and professionals replenish themselves.

Shar’dae has been trauma-informed therapist for several years and she has provided counseling services to people of various backgrounds. Shar’dae is also passionate about empowering and encouraging other helping professionals. Shar’dae provides counseling services for individuals, families, couples, and groups that experience trauma, anxiety, eating disorders, depression, schizophrenia, relationship issues, difficulty regulating emotions, self-esteem issues, family conflict, divorce, addictions, struggle with identity, infertility, impact of lack of DEI, and spirituality issues.
